The Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre, Moscow-

Epiphany Fest has become a winter tradition. This year the organizers chose rare plays by compositors of XX and XXI centuries as presented material. Different themes and problems are focused on. A 50 years old opera “The Passenger” by Moses Vineberg admired by Shostakovich opens the program and speaks about nazi death camps survivor. Spectacle-diptych “Dido” mixes the minimalistic “Dido. Prologue” and Barocco luxurious “Dido and Aeneas” into bizarre combination. Opera “Pushkin” by Constantine Boyarskiy reveals the contradictories between great Russian poet and imperator Nikolay.

Gorky Park, Moscow

This year it’s Gorky Park who is first to open an ice rink. And not a simple one: the project is made by modern street artists and the opening will gather NZCA Lines from UK and Deep Fried Friends. Come get lost in ice labyrinth, dance to synth pop and Peruvian motives, enjoy the magic illumination.

Sokolniki Park, Moscow

In 2016 Sokolniki has a lot to offer to its winter guests: a photo exhibition, a ski slope, figure skating lessons, 3 ice rinks and many more. There are plenty of cozy spots where you can get a warming coffee to go, have a nice lunch or sit by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa.
